Opportunities for Growth and Leadership
The Good News Corps program doesn’t just aim to make a difference abroad—it also transforms the lives of the volunteers. Participants develop valuable leadership skills, international exposure, and a challenging mindset. Through education, volunteer service, and cultural immersion, they emerge as well-rounded individuals ready to tackle global challenges. Many volunteers go on to become leaders in their communities and professions, empowered by the unique experiences they gained during their service year.
Exchanging Our Youth for Their Hearts
The Good News Corps Overseas Volunteer Program was founded on the idea of exchanging the passion and energy of youth for the hearts of people across the world. Since the first group of 14 volunteers was dispatched to 10 countries in 2002, the program has grown to 400–600 volunteers each year, serving in 95 countries.
Our mission is to develop future leaders with strong international capabilities through volunteer service, cultural exchange, and education. By fostering global understanding, we aim to contribute to solving real-world challenges.
